32nd consecutive blue and gold quiz - 2022

The quiz club of ST Thomas College Matara took part in the gold quiz - 2022 held by the general knowledge club of Royal College - Colombo on 25th October 2022 . We congratulate Sanuka Akkarawatta (Captain) , Dinith Waidyarathna (Vice captain) ,Dinuja Nimsara , Sehas Hannagala and Banuja Sathnada Deegala for bringing our school to a higher rank at the competition.

We specially thank the teachers who were behind this event Mrs.Thusitha Mathangadeera and Mrs.W. S. Sanjeewani .

All Island Music Competition (school with more than thousand students) - Matara Zonal Competition

• Guitar playing (Individual) - First place. -Gageesha Hasmitha
• Tabla playing (individual) -First place. Rumiru Dineth
• Singing (group) -First place 15 students from grade 10 and 11 classes.
